Welcome to Third Grade!

My name is Ms. Waller and I am so excited to be a special part of your student's third grade year! This is my fourth year of teaching third grade at Horne Street School. I graduated with my Master's of Education from UNH in 2012. I have been a part of our school's Responsive Classroom committee after I received the training in 2013. I am using this training to help support my philosophy of teaching in trying my best to create a supportive classroom family where everyone feels welcome and can grow to their own highest potential.

This year, I bought my first house in Barrington with my fiance, Jake. We live with our crazy cat, Cooper, and new Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees puppy, Kona. We are currently planning our wedding that will be taking place on December 30th, 2016! In our free time we enjoy spending quality time with our friends and family, getting outdoors, and doing lots of paddle boarding!

Parent-teacher communication is extremely important. Please feel free to email me at any time with any questions or concerns. Please keep in mind that I check my email before and after school (and hopefully during school if I get the chance), but any immediate concerns should be called into the front office. I try and email on a regular basis with student concerns or updates. I feel this is the best way to help your student be successful with their own individual needs. Please email me when you have the chance so I can store your email for future updates or concerns. It is important that I know what I can do to help make your student's third grade year memorable!
